Patrick D. Smith Causeway

     Named the Greatest living Floridian in 2002 (by the Florida Historical State Society), Patrick Smith was recently honored with the naming

of a portion of State Road 520 the Patrick D. Smith Causeway.  Among the sixty people attending were Florida's Secretary of State Sue

Cobb, Sen. Bill Posey, R-Rockledge, who sponsored the bill in the Florida Senate renaming the causeway, and County Commissioner Ron
